Trauma in Children and Adolescents in Schools

Sharon Davila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience working with children and families as an agent of support and guidance. In addition to being the sole proprietor of Purposeful Living Counseling Services, LLC, she is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Chicago Crown School of Social Work and a behavioral health consultant at a school-based health clinic that serves elementary and middle school students. Sharon is trained in various modalities including PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) , and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy). Sharon’s passions include providing quality trauma informed services to marginalized and underserved populations.
